Today is the last update that the unbranded Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini also received available to users with a unit of Vodafone.
This update with firmware version number XXUBMJ7, arrived two weeks ago all the unbranded – not equipped with provider-specific software – version of the Galaxy S4 Mini. The update is about 160 MB and can be best installed via a WiFi connection. The update brings no update to Android version 4.3 with it, but does affect some preparations. This lays the foundation for Samsung’s Knox security package.
Furthermore, there are mainly behind the scenes – so not directly visible to the user – smoothed small bumps.
The ‘big’ update to Android 4.3 for the Galaxy S4 Mini is also expected in the short term, ie for the unbranded phone version. Users with a Vodafone branded device – for example, if you have just received the above update – have to wait a little longer.
Today’s update is available via the device itself, and through Samsung’s Choose software on the PC.
