Contrary to what we recently advised in our Galaxy S3 Q & A , the Samsung S3 Galaxy indeed over Swype. Only: it’s called Swype no more, but is now just part of the standard Samsung keyboard.

To do your lyrics to “swypen, tandwieletje tap the bottom left next to the space bar on the keyboard. You will then go to settings. Check their Continuous text input”, while you can in most text entry fields swypen.

It is only the name Swype does not occur on the device – which soon the impression that Samsung S3 on the Galaxy for the first time no Swype provides. Fortunately, this is simply not the case!

    Samsung Galaxy S3 and swype.
Yes it is there, under other name – but does only work on certain areas. Text messages (sms) are ok, but does not work on email or searching on google. Very very irritating. Been in touch with Samsung Scandinavia who confirming only working certain areas and they dont know if will be changed. (Galaxy S2 and Galaxy note both has swype working regardless purpose).
