Samsung’s market share is growing in America with Android

From good old  SamMobile we’ve gotten some interesting facts presented regarding the smartphone market in America. A monthly research agency comScore shows include the market share of Samsung and see how it compares to other big guys like Apple and HTC.


In the table we see that Samsung just relaxing continues to slowly but surely conquering the (U.S.) smartphone market. The Koreans have currently (end of October 2013 to be exact) about 25% of the market. This is an increase of 1.3% compared to the previous quarter. This puts Samsung in a strong first place among leading Apple far above the competition by 40%. The rest of the top five includes HTC, Motorola and LG all continue stabbing. Around a market share of around 7%

Although the iPhone so far the most popular handset in America appears to be Android has still managed to get when it comes to mobile operating systems the lead. Ie more than 52% of all (American) smartphones running on a version of Android that Google by nearly 12% over Apple’s iOS is. We also see that Microsoft and Blackberry to the third and fourth fight.
