Though we may believe a cropped picture of a memo from Samsung itself – and that is the question – will the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 already getting an update to Android 4.4 in January KitKat. Followed by April the Galaxy S3 and Note 2.

In the picture we see a schedule with expected release dates of update KRT16 – or Android 4.4 KitKat. Both the Galaxy 3 and Galaxy S4 they can not see, in March or April, followed by the Galaxy S3 and Note 2 so. Early as January 2014 meeting

To be precise, this is another device versions of the Note 3 and S4 are then sold in the Netherlands, but this should not matter as much for themselves the update schedule.

All in all we would like to believe that the photo above is reliable, but the scheme comes to us very optimistic about. At this moment are the Dutch Note 2 and S3 still waiting on Android 4.3, while the S4, this update was received. Only just Only the date of the Note 3 seems somewhat feasible – and even that would be very fast.

And then there is the point that Samsung usually wait with bringing a great new Android version to existing devices until the new top model – which by default runs on the latest Android version – is introduced. For example, the Galaxy S4 was the first with Android 4.2, and the Note 3 first with Android 4.3.

The expectation is that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be the first with Android 4.4, and that other devices get updated only after the release of the S5. And yes, we know there are rumors that the Galaxy S5 already unveiled in January could be, but that month is’ he’s still certainly not in stores.

So either Samsung deviates from its normal regime update with the update to Android 4.4 – either the photo above is based on hot air. What do you think?
