Apple will release not 1 or 2 but 3 new iPhones in 2013, 1 of which will have a 4.8-inch screen, a new rumor said that.
As to the China Times, which cites sources from Apple’s supply chain, Apple will release a “classic” iPhone and a 4.8-inch screen device, halfway between a smartphone and a tablet, called “iPhone Math”. In addition, the rumor says Apple will also release a 3rd iPhone model which have a 12-megapixel camera at the end of the 2013.
Apple’s 7.9-inch iPad mini and the 4-inch iPhone 5 have shown the company has the confidence to explore diff form factors, which sparked the iPhone tablet hybrid rumors. Officially there is no word or indication that such devices is indeed being production, though it could arguably help Apple deal with competing large-screen Android mobiles which are going extremely good, mostly the 4.8-inch Samsung Galaxy S3.
