The iPad mini will be available on 2nd Nov, starting at $329 for the 16-gigabyte, Wi-Fi version only. Larger 32 GB and 64 GB versions will cost $429 and $529, respectively. Now Apple began to take pre-orders from Friday.
Like the full-size iPad, the iPad mini has versions that connect with 3G and 4G cellular networks from Verizon, AT&T or Sprint. The cellular repetition, which will ship in mid-November, will cost $459, $559 and $659.
The iPad Mini features a 7.9-inch 1024 x 768 display, making it slightly larger than many small tablet competitors, such as the Google Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire HD.
