Yesterday, with the release of iOS 8.1 Apple has sent a letter to developers with new requirements in respect of the application to be placed in the App Store.
From 1 February new iOS-applications that are downloaded on-line shop Appple, should include support for 64-bit architecture, and be developed with the help of an SDK for iOS 8. Programs created by the usual method only on 32-bit architecture, will not be skipped.
In the past year, Apple encourages developers to work with iOS 7 SDK, but does not impose restrictions on the architecture. Support applications for 64-bit processors installed in the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and some iPad, will improve the performance of devices and enjoy the full gameplay.
